Zero Tolerance

In common with all other NHS establishments, Lakeside Medical Practice has a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggressive, violent or abusive behaviour towards staff and other patients within the Health Centre.

Our staff and patients have the right to feel safe and secure while in these premises.

Patients considered to be offending against this policy will be escorted from the premises and will be removed from the patient list. If you have concerns, please ask to speak to the Manager.

Smoking is not allowed on surgery premises and we ask that our patients don’t use their mobile phones in the Health Centre.

Rights and Responsibilities

Lakeside Medical Practice has a policy of equality of care for all patients.

Lakeside Medical Practice respects the rights of all patients to express a preference of practitioner.

We will not tolerate any type of verbal or physical abuse, aggressive or any other inappropriate behavior towards any member of our staff or other patients.

We can and will ask you to leave the premises if your behaviour is considered to be unacceptable.

We agree in return to treat you with courtesy and respect the confidentiality of personal information we hold about you and your family.
